The London Drupal user group is focused on providing events for particular user cases, such as Education, Enterprise, Publications, and Artists. We also have a regular monthly social meeting on the last Monday of the month, and take part in various trade shows.
To get email updates for future meetings please register and subscribe to this group.
The regular Drupal, beer and chat returns this month, with a bit of a special addition. I'm very happy to announce that Dries will be dropping in to sample some of our real ales and see what is happening with Drupal in London and the UK.
We will be making a slight exception to our usual strict "no presentations" rule and invite Dries to give a short talk.
If you're involved in social media, social networking, want to know how to build a social network with Drupal or how Drupal integrates with social media than this event is for you...
Those involved in any of the following industries should attend:
Campainging Camp aims to develop tools for great campaigning / advocacy. The event (free) currently has a track for CiviCRM / Drupal (and Plone) - so any CiviCRM /Drupal developers pleas join.
I just wanted to let all Drupal developers know that they can get a discount for the PHP UK Conference 2010, taking place on Friday in London, as Drupal UK are a community partner.
Novelty of 2010 wearing off? No valentines day date? WSODs on your site?
Then come along to this month's Drupal meetup, drown your sorrows and have a good chat about Drupal. Same thing, same place. We'll be at the Square Pig from 7pm onwards. No presentations, no format, no timetable. Just come down, make a name label and join the fun.
As part of Social Media Week, FreshNetworks will be hosting "Doughnuts for Drupal" - a free, informal breakfast discussion about using Drupal as a social media platform. The event will also be the unofficial launch of the London Drupal hub.
Many organisations put a lot of time and effort into the initial launch of a website, but give little thought to how it will be maintained once it goes live. Over the past 8 years the Drupal community has developed technologies and best practises for maintaining websites and keeping them secure, which were promoted at this event.
About 120 people attended, thanks to everyone who came!
Video is a great way to communicate
with your audience, and Drupal has some excellent features for adding
and managing video on a site.
Whether you are evaluating Drupal or
running in production, this is a great opportunity to learn more
about video handling, put your questions to the experts, and connect
with the London Drupal community.
