Looking for developer for exciting election project (Jan 2010)

Hello everyone,

We've got a really exciting project for the 2010 UK elections which basically involves getting people in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Ghana voting (how, you ask? we will send all details).

The system is going to work through FrontlineSMS and Drupal so we're trying to get hold of someone who has free time very soon (Jan 2010) to start working on it.

Drupal For Marketing

Date:
Thu, 29/10/2009 - 18:00 - 21:30

Drupal makes it possible do more with less - reach out to new customers, enhance relationships to retain current customers, and track the success of your campaigns.

Whether you are evaluating Drupal or running in production, this is a great opportunity to learn more, put your questions to the experts, and connect with the London Drupal community.

Practical Drupal for Small NGOs

[28/Oct/09 The first event will take place on Friday the 6th, November 2009!]
[8/Oct/09 - We have received 10 applications so although we keep accepting applications, we cannot support new applicants immediately. But your application will be in queue so please submit your application using the form below!]
[1/Oct/09 - added new roles. also changed the visibility setting so this post is visible in all groups. Some people based outside of London are interested in attending so why not!]
I have been fascinated by the idea and underlying ethos of Drupal for NGOs initiated by Rob Purdie. The group has had a number of meetups but it seems to me it hasn't yielded much collaborations or exciting projects yet, which doesn't keep my heart dancing.

In joomla I could create a newsletter with images. How can I replicate this in druplal 6. Is simplenews the best way to send emails to members of the church?

Looking for a themer for a Drupal and CiviCRM non-profit website. We need a finished theme by approximately October 23, and a very simple theme that will eventually turn in to that theme by September 23. If you're interested and available to work to this time frame, please get in contact with examples of recent theming work. Cheers, Michael

Freelance Drupal odd-job person wanted

I am building a Drupal+CiviCRM site for a research charity in my spare time, but it's taking more time than I expected and I really need some expert help and guidance. I am experienced in JSP/MySQL but new to PHP, Drupal and CiviCRM. This phase is primarily Drupal work, as I try to recreate the old site in Drupal.
