The North West Drupal User Group meets once a month at the MadLab in Manchester.
Admission is free, and you're welcome to bring your Drupal questions and problems, as well as any projects you'd like to demo.
We usually have a good turnout of people, ranging from complete beginners to full-time developers, so if you're looking to learn more about Drupal, this user group is a great place to start.
We like to have a mix of demos, breakout sessions and general Drupal banter with time for questions and one-on-one help.
There's the added option of moving on to a nearby pub for refreshment afterwards...
Contract: Initially for 6 months, but this may develop into a permanent position.
Location: Manchester (close to city centre). Staff are required to be on site, no remote working.
Skills: Drupal 6, PHP, LAMP
Salary: Circa 18k to 20K per annum depending on experience

Computer Gentle are running a meetup for Drupal developers, users and pottential users from the Yorkshire area. The event will be an informal chance to meet with other Drupal geeks, share some of the work you've been doing and see what other people are producing with Drupal.

Due to a popular demand, I'm proposing another UC meetup. Since the turnout was pretty good when we had this on the third Friday in September, let's have this on the third Friday again. I also liked Royal Festival Hall a lot so let's have it there (Level 2) again.
