The London Drupal user group is exploring the idea of organising meetups focusing on particular user cases.

Each link above leads to a forum post where the event will be planned.

Charities and community groups will be included in the NGO meeting.

I'll change the title to make that clearer.

When do we start this? Will the next workshop (2/5/08) focuses on one of these domains?

We'll need to announce events at least one full month in advance, preferably longer, to give people time to register and also create presentations.

So 2/5/08 is too soon, but I think we'll have the details for at least three of these events finalised by then and be able to announce them.

Graphic Designers

I think it would be really useful for the Drupal UK community to start up an exchange with graphic designers, part of your NGO's and Charities should include something for Arts Organisations too.

I'm thinking of these

I'm thinking of these events as mainly for site owners (clients), and developers/designers that want to work in each sector (suppliers).

So we want to encourage designers to come to these events, but I think we also need a completely seperate event to focus on demonstrating to web designers what Drupal is capable off and introducing some techniques. 

Let's add a Drupal For Web Designers event.
